Christopher Nolen
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER/WRITER/ACTOR/MODEL Christopher Nolen is a highly educated young man. Born and raised on the South side of Chicago Christopher attended Morgan Park High School and graduated fifth in his senior class with high honors. Christopher then graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Theatre. After graduation Christopher went on and received his Master’s in Mathematics from National Louis University, Master’s in Educational Administration from Governor’s State University and took filmmaking classes at Columbia College.

Christopher is also known as a prominent model and actor in the Chicagoland area. While receiving his Master’s degree Christopher taught high school and junior high in the Public School System in the Chicagoland area. While he was teaching Christopher was directing numerous stage plays in the Chicagoland area. He also started to direct music videos, industrials and short films in the Chicagoland area.

Recently, Christopher was named one of the hottest upcoming filmmakers in the Midwest. He directed the short film entitled “The Cut” which turned heads during screenings on the film festival circuit, at 2005 Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Month Kickoff festivities, Columbia College African American Filmmakers Festival and at the 2005 African Festival of the Arts in Chicago’s Washington Park. After the screenings of his successful short film entitled “The Cut” Christopher made it for all of the independent filmmakers in the world today. “The Cut is the struggling filmmaker’s anthem!” CHRIS says. “Everyone needs a chance to make a good story. People who have money should at least listen to filmmakers about their projects.”

After all of the accolades that his short film received Christopher was able to direct his first feature film “Subtle Seduction.” Subtle Seduction is the high powerful drama, crime, suspense and comedy that has captured a lot of people’s interest. Christopher has a lot of experience in the independent film business as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Christopher founded Nferno Productions in 1998 and has been moving full speed ahead since. Christopher has directed and produced several industrials, music videos and short films for independent artists. Christopher filmed all of his productions in the city of Chicago, posting unusual production challenges and demonstrating his skills in handling actors. All of this stems from Christopher being highly intelligent and having a good upbringing. Christopher Nolen is excited and passionate about directing and producing more films, videos, commercials, industrials and television shows.

Christopher is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Chicago Alliance of African American Filmmakers.
