OCTOBER 23, 2008 – The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) is one of the largest independent film festivals in the world. NYIIFVF has been recognized by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the independent festival circuit. The festival host’s film, music and art events in the two entertainment capitals of the United States: New York and Los Angeles: THE NYIIFVF announced its top honors in several categories with the presentation of awards for several genres from hundreds of entries in October.
The Feature Winner for Best Urban Thriller Short/Film went to “Subtle Seduction” – A film by Christopher Nolen. The film features, “A SCORNED WOMAN WHO IS TIRED OF BEING LIED TO BY THE MEN IN HER LIFE. SHE DECIDES TO TAKE MATTERS INTO HER OWN HANDS AND ENSURES THAT THEY CAN’T LIE TO ANYONE ELSE.” Subtle Seduction was a hit at NYIIFVF festival screening in New York and also received nominations at the 2008 Chicago Black Harvest Film Festival this summer.
Along with Christopher Nolen, one of Chicago’s Hottest young charismatic film Directors, Producer and Screen writers, The film also features some of Hollywood’s brightest stars, Jaci Williamson, Eric Lane, Alex Thomas and “Buffy” The Body, Trey “Da Choklit” Jock, Dave Leonard, Simeon “Simbo,” Elizabeth Abraham, Annette Galloway, GRADY, Craig Heard and Johnny “Koolout”.
