Award winning Director and Producer takes home another 2008 National Award
NATIONWIDE, USA- NOVEMBER 20, 2008- Christopher Nolen, Producer and National Film Director took home the top honor of the evening at the 2008 Velocity Magazine Awards on November 15, 2008 for Best Director for Subtle Seduction, The Movie.
The Savvy Agency, Inc announced last month their client Christopher Nolen and Nferno Productions, Inc, received Six official nominations for the 2008 Velocity Awards in the categories of Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Film/Stage Play for Subtle Seduction, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.
The Best Director winner also took home the 2008 New York International Independent Film Festival award for Best Urban Thriller Short/Film. The film features, “A SCORNED WOMAN WHO IS TIRED OF BEING LIED TO BY THE MEN IN HER LIFE. SHE DECIDES TO TAKE MATTERS INTO HER OWN HANDS AND ENSURES THAT THEY CAN’T LIE TO ANYONE ELSE.” Subtle Seduction was a hit at NYIIFVF festival screening in New York and also received nominations at the 2008 Chicago Black Harvest Film Festival this summer.
The Velocity Magazine Awards recognizes the outstanding achievements of Independent Artists in the worlds of music, stage and film. Velocity Magazine is an Independent Publication based out of the Washington D.C Metropolitan Area and is published by Southeast Boy Productions L.L.C. Nominated for Best Supporting Actor, Simeon Henderson accepted the Award on behalf of Christopher Nolen as he thanked the nominating committee and the Savvy Agency, Inc for helping him take home this top honor.
